Job Description:
As a Project Manager reporting to the Director, PMO/Implementations, you will be responsible for driving the implementation of all Curae products. You will collaborate with Curae stakeholders to improve the efficiency of the current project plan and implementation deliverables. The ideal candidate has excellent organizational skills and can indirectly manage client and partner resources and identify timeline and project scope risks. Curae is a fun and fast-paced environment that provides for creativity and autonomy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage Curae product implementations (insurance discovery and recovery, Medicare underpayment recovery, insurance sponsorship, drug assistance programs, philanthropic aid, payment processing, and patient financing)
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, timeline, resource allocation, and budget.
- Ability to create new project plans and milestones for new and emerging products.
- Define project objectives, deliverables, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Revenue Cycle, Patient Access, Customer Service, IT, Compliance, Finance, and Marketing) to gather requirements and align project goals.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between Curae and project stakeholders, ensuring clear communication of project status, risks, and requirements.
- Hold regular project meetings to track progress, address issues, and manage expectations with stakeholders.
- Provide regular status updates to senior leadership on project milestones and outcomes.
- Identify potential project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and resolve issues impacting project timelines or quality.
- Manage relationships with third-party vendors and consultants to ensure timely and successful delivery of IT solutions.
- Coordinate resources (both internal and external) and ensure they are effectively allocated to achieve project objectives.
- Coordinate end-user training to ensure revenue cycle staff adopts new systems and tools.
- Provide ongoing support to ensure the continued success of implemented systems, troubleshooting issues as needed.
Experience:
- A BS/BA degree in a related discipline (e.g., Engineering, Management, or something similar) is strongly preferred.
- PMP or similar
- Experience in Healthcare Revenue Cycle technology preferred.
- Client-facing project management.
- Experience with EHRs is preferred (i.e., Epic, Cerner, Meditech, etc.).
- 5+ years of experience in related fields (i.e., change management, process improvement, project management, technical operations).
- Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to work effectively with teams.
- Experienced in data and process flow diagramming.
- Experienced in creating project management tools and dashboards and automating task management.
- Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
