Job Description:
As a mid-career Full Stack Developer, you will be a core contributor on Curae’s software development team, building and maintaining the web applications and services that power our healthcare financing platform. You will work across the stack — from React-based user interfaces to .NET backend services to PostgreSQL data models — partnering with product managers, designers, QA, and other engineers to deliver reliable, high-performance software. This role is a strong fit for an engineer who enjoys owning features end-to-end and wants to make a direct impact in a fast-moving healthcare fintech environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Full Stack Development: Design, build, and maintain features across the stack using React on the front end, .NET (C#) on the back end, and PostgreSQL for persistence.
- API Design & Integration: Build and consume RESTful APIs that connect React applications with .NET services and third-party systems.
- Data Modeling: Write performant SQL and design schema changes in PostgreSQL to support new features, reporting, and analytics needs.
- Code Quality: Participate in code reviews, write automated tests, and contribute to CI/CD practices to maintain a high bar for reliability and maintainability.
- Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, designers, QA, and data teams to translate requirements into well-scoped, shippable work.
- Debugging & Maintenance: Diagnose and resolve production issues across the stack, and contribute to the long-term health of the codebase.
- Mentorship: Share knowledge with junior developers through code reviews, pairing, and design discussions.

- Comfortable with Git-based workflows, code review, and modern CI/CD tooling.
- Familiarity with automated testing at the unit, integration, and end-to-end levels.
Preferred Experience
- Prior experience in healthcare, fintech, or other regulated industries.
- Exposure to healthcare data concepts such as patient balances, encounters, or revenue cycle workflows.

Professional Attributes
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a detail-oriented mindset.
- Collaboration: Clear communicator who works effectively with both technical and non-technical teammates.
