We are seeking a Healthcare HR Manager with proven experience in mid-to-large hospital or health system environments to join our team. The ideal candidate will bring deep understanding of healthcare workforce operations, HR compliance, and talent development practices that support organizational growth and performance. This position reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer.
Job Description:
The Healthcare HR Manager will lead all human resources operations supporting Curae’s expanding healthcare service teams. This role will build and manage scalable HR processes—covering recruitment, onboarding, compliance, training, and performance management—to ensure Curae attracts and retains top talent in patient financial services and healthcare operations.
You will serve as a key liaison between Curae’s leadership and EBO (Extended Business Office) teams, ensuring alignment between workforce planning and organizational objectives.
Objectives of the Role:
- Develop and oversee Curae’s HR strategy to support operational growth and compliance within healthcare regulations.
- Build strong recruiting and retention programs that attract high-performing healthcare professionals.
- Implement training and performance frameworks tailored to patient financial operations.
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and healthcare-specific employment standards (EEOC, HIPAA, FLSA).
- Serve as a trusted partner to Curae leadership on all workforce and organizational matters.
Key Tasks:
- Lead end-to-end recruitment for call center, clinical support, and corporate roles within Curae’s healthcare finance operations.
- Design and implement scalable onboarding programs aligned with Curae’s patient financial engagement culture.
- Manage employee relations, performance evaluations, and workforce development initiatives.
- Partner with the COO and department heads to forecast staffing needs and improve retention.
- Ensure HR practices adhere to HIPAA, FMLA, OSHA, and other regulatory standards.
- Oversee benefits administration, payroll coordination, and compensation benchmarking.
- Lead HR data reporting and analytics to support operational decision-making.
- Support change management initiatives and employee engagement programs to sustain Curae’s growth.
Required Qualifications:
- 5–10 years of HR management experience in healthcare, preferably within a mid-to-large hospital or health system.
- Strong understanding of healthcare HR compliance (HIPAA, FMLA, EEOC, Joint Commission).
- Proven experience in recruiting, onboarding, and developing high-volume healthcare teams.
- Knowledge of healthcare workforce structures, scheduling, and credentialing processes.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal communication skills.
- Experience using HRIS and applicant tracking systems (e.g., ADP, Workday, Paycom, or BambooHR).
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SCP certification.
- Experience supporting Extended Business Office (EBO) or revenue cycle workforce operations.
- Demonstrated success implementing HR analytics and retention programs.
- Prior exposure to healthcare finance or patient access organizations.
- Master’s degree in HR or Organizational Development a plus.
